Team history
Co-founded by Alexandre Coigny and Nicolas Lapierre at the end of 2020, COOL Racing / CLX Motorsport has quicky established itself has a major player of sportscar racing, both in the LMP2 and LMP3 classes.
Based in Annecy, close to Geneva, the team is involved in European Le Mans Series, Michelin Le Mans Cup and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The team is growing fast :
• In 2021, the team raced in LMP2 ProAm class and LMP3.
• In 2022, the team stepped up in LMP2 Pro class and raced for the first time at the Le Mans 24 Hours.
• In the meantime, the team won his first European title in LMP3.
• In 2023, the team increases its program to 2 LMP2, including for the Le Mans’ Centenary year edition.
COOL Racing will still run one LMP3 in European Le Mans and two in Michelin Le Mans Cup, adding to the Asian Le Mans Series.
CLX Motorsport has already strong links with OEMs :
• Yifei Ye, Porsche factory driver, raced with the team in 2022 to be prepared for LMDh.
• Ricky Taylor, HPD/Acura factory driver, joined the team at Le Mans 24 Hours.
• Pechito Lopez, Toyota factory driver, will join the team for the 2023 ELMS program.
